As a retired music educator, music still holds a prominent place in my life. Photography however, has become
a significant pastime.
It was probably my mother's influence more than anything else that got me "seeing". She was forever shooting "snapshots"
and pointing out beautiful sunsets. For as long as I can remember, I have been interested in "seeing" and now I enjoy attempting
to capture those sights in my camera.
Mostly self-taught, I have attended some weekend seminars and photo "camps", but have been most significantly influenced
and helped by members of the Minnetonka Camera Club. This is a group of excellent photographers in the Minneapolis area, dedicated
to helping each other become better photographers.
